Day 4: Serengeti - part deux With the all our luck on the first day – we anticipated our second day in the Serengeti to be a bit slower. It was. But finally our luck returned and we got to watch two hippos fight at the hippo pool. Awesome.

Then, we were able to finish off the Big Five – we got to see our first leopard! It’s incredibly elusive and so some people don’t get to see any on their entire safaris.  By now, we’ve seen hartebeests, gazelles, topis, elands, ostrich...a buncha animals, including flies & crickets.  Cam and Alex had serious problem with bugs in the jeep.  Check out what happens when you mess with Cameron Tangney...

Jonas, our safari guide, repeated this to us a thousand times getting in and out of the jeep
