indie rock and roll

went to paradiso tonight - even though work is crazy busy - and saw Fanfarlo play.  they were ok.  just ok.  felt like they shoulda done more.  it was decided the dude on the trumpet, lead singer and chick carried the bassist and drummer.  there just shoulda been more.  not bad.  just not great.  arcade fire, without the fire.  what's also confusing - the picture i got off the interweb shows seven people.  most others showed six.  there were definitely only five tonight.  maybe the sixth was the missing fire.  and the seventh...i got nothin.
