We ♥ Dùn Èideann.


we met up with sascha & ross and dave & tara friday night.  
drinks at the maison bleue on victoria street before heading a couple doors down to have a fantastic dinner at howie's.  
capped off the night with cocktails at the villager.

the next day we kicked off the day with breakfast meat pies at auld jock's pie shoppe in 
grassmarket square.  we then checked out the royal mile and old town.  
at 12.40 sharp, we began our whisky tour.  the girls did the silver tour...the boys went for the gold

then we went for a leisurely walk through Princes Street Gardens and walked through to New Town for 
champagne and snacks at  Whighams.

 

right after sunset, we went for the supernatural history tour at mary king's close....more historic than super natural....but i did see a ghost:

after that, we ended up at the jolly judge, a bar with the worst beers in all of scotland, then stopped at made in italy for a bite to eat before passing out for the night.

sunday morning we visited the edinburgh castle before we left a new favorite city in the world for us!  top weekend!
